ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ʜᴏʟɪᴅᴀʏ!

Hello everyone! it’s been a long time because of school days off. By the way, happy new year!
So i want to tell you about my last holiday. Maybe nothing seems very special from my holiday, but I enjoyed it so well.

All started from 20th of December. My friends and I from junior high school went to Dunia Fantasi (Dufan). We gathered at JHS 5 Bandung at 6 in the morning. Then we headed to Jakarta by car and arrived there at around 10 a.m. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes until the gate opened. After waiting ten minutes, we finally entered Dufan. Without waiting too long, we immediately rode the attraction in front of us namely “ontang-anting”. Actually this is not too extreme, but it will make us dizzy because we spin continuously for 3 minutes.

We spent half the day there. I thought it would be better if we came there on a weekday, because the queue would be less and also because it was Friday, so we cut Friday prayer time. But we really enjoyed our quality time. Unfortunately, there are several rides that are being under maintanance, one of which we are waiting for is "arung jeram". Although I've been to Dufan several times, but there are always new moments, including because there are a new rides called Dunia Kartun. There are many challenging rides, unlike the title "Dunia Kartun" which if concluded for children. The most challenging new rides I like the most are the "baling-baling".

Around 4 to 5 pm, we finally finished playing at Dufan.  We returned to the car and my friends drove me to Baywalk Pluit Mall because my father picked me up there.  I didn’t go home to Bandung with them because there was a family event tomorrow in Jakarta.

The next day, I have a family event at my grandma's house.  The event ran smoothly from 12 noon to 6 pm.  After the family event finished, my family and I went home to Bandung.  The trip from Jakarta to Bandung was smooth and there was no traffic.  We arrived in Bandung around 11 pm.

After being home for a few days just lying down, watching movies, and sleep. Finally on December 27 my family and I went on vacation. Me and my family is went to Singapore, but before that we went to Batam because my father still working there. First, we went to Jakarta by car at 8 in the morning. When in the middle of the trip, we stopped in KM 97 Rest Area to look for breakfast because none of us had breakfast. After we had our breakfast, we continued our trip. Finally we arrived at Jakarta around 11 a.m. We went straight to Soekarno Hatta Airport. When we got there, we immediately put our baggage. Then we have to wait about 3 hours until the boarding time arrives. My flight schedule is 16.20, so we have to boarding an hour before.

At around 6 p.m, we finally arrived at Hang Nadim Airport, Batam. My dad's driver from the hospital is picking up us it the airport. We went to hotel because we have to put our baggage. We stayed at Sahid Batam Centre Hotel. When we arrived there, we immediately checked in and took a few minutes rest. Then, i took a shower and after that my family and I went to a place to eat around the hotel called Tre Cipolle. Our stomach are already full, so we went back to hotel. When we arrived there, we go to sleep.

Because my father is working, me, my sister, and, my mom are went to a mall to watch Star Wars movie. When we're confused when we get there, cause the mall is very empty! There's only a cinema inside, but the mall is very big. Then i asked to one of my friend that is from Batam, Chacha. She said that the mall wasn't ready yet, only the cinema opened. After we finished watching movie, we moved to a different mall called Grand Mall Batam. The mall is arguably the mall in general, we bought some food there and go straight back to the hotel.

So I think this is the most excited moments in Batam.
The next day, my father hasn't worked anymore, he already got his day off. In the morning, we went to some cafe named Anchor to have a breakfast. After that, we decided to surround the island of Batam and its surroundings. So we followed the Balerang Bridge until we were at KM 0 Batam. Balerang is an abbrevetiation from the three major islands of Batam, Rempang, and Galang. Barelang Bridge is, in fact, a system consisting of 6 bridges and connecting roads. The road to get there is very quiet, like there's no life.

So here some pictures that i took when i'm on the way there,

When we arrived at KM 0 Batam, we went to Tanjung Cakang. The beach is very calming and surrounded by rocks. We spent almost an hour there to took some pictures and enjoyed the view. Then we went back to the hotel to take a rest.

On December 30, my family and I went to Singapore by ship. This is my first experience going to Singapore not by plane, but by boat. Around 11 a.m, we arrived in Singapore and then we went to the hotel to check in. When we got there, it turns out we were not allowed to check in. So we waited in the lounge provided by the hotel until 1 pm.

We put our luggage in the room and then we headed to Sentosa Island by bus. Once there, we went to S.E.A Aquarium. I really like going to the aquarium, because I don't know why I like seeing the sea blue. The fish there are very cute. I wonder, where did they catch it from? The sea animal that I like the most is jellyfish. They are very cute.

After being satisfied there, we went to Vivo City, which was very close to Sentosa Island. We looked for dinner there, then we went straight back to the hotel.

The next day, we decided to relax at the hotel until around 1pm. After we got ready, we went to Orchard for shopping. The streets are very crowded because everyone is waiting for the new year event at Marina Bay. Around 7 pm, we went to Marina Bay to see the situation there. After arrived there, it looks like it will be more comfortable to see fireworks on the hotel's rooftop because it is very crowded here. So we decided to go back to the hotel and check the rooftop view first.

Yup, it would be better if we watched the fireworks on the rooftop. We take a rest and had dinner in our room while waiting at 11 p.m. Around 11:30, we went up to the rooftop of the hotel and waited for 2020 with other visitors. Fireworks have started appearing since 15 minutes before 12 p.m. Finally the long-awaited has arrived, 2020! The fireworks are very beautiful and clear from here.

On January 1, we went to Revelry for breakfast. The chicken waffle is very famous here, and when I try it it tastes really good. After breakfast, we went to Harbor Front to buy souvenirs. Actually we only looking for chocolate for souvenirs. Finally we returned to the hotel and prepared to go home. Around 3 pm, we headed to Changi Airport. Our flight schedule is at 16:45. Around 7 pm, we arrived in Jakarta and then we headed straight for Gambir Station because it was not possible to go home by car, because the road was still flooded. Finally at 2 am on January 2, we arrived in Bandung. We went straight to the house and rested.

So that's it, thank you for reading it to the end. I am very grateful to be able to enjoy this vacation. Once again, thank you, bye!
